


Our Founder, Dr. H. Boyd Hall
Dr. H. Boyd Hall was a dedicated leader and advocate for civil rights and equality in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born in 1899, he used his influence as a prominent dentist to challenge segregation and improve opportunities for Black residents in education, housing, and employment. Dr. Hall's efforts played a significant role in integrating local public schools and higher education institutions, as well as advocating for fair hiring practices across government and public services.

Although Dr. Hall passed away in 1974, his legacy continues to inspire efforts for equality and justice in the region. His leadership, courage, and unwavering dedication to fighting for a more inclusive society remain a cornerstone of his enduring impact. Today, his life's work continues through initiatives that support health, community development, and youth services in Corpus Christi.
